Problem Note 59345: Syntax error or access violation occurs when using the current_user function in SAS® Federation Server 4.2
In SAS Federation Server 4.2, using the current_user function fails with the following error:
faultCode:DataViewer_GenericError faultString:'The data cannot be shown because either the source does not exist or it cannot be accessed.' faultDetail:'Server error occurred while processing prepareWithNumberOfResultColumns.' Error message: [com.sas.tkts.sql.FSException: T_PREPARE: Table Service: Function failed.] SQLSTATE:[42000] MESSAGE:[Syntax error or access violation] NATIVEERROR: [-2130708373] SQLState: [42000] Error code: [-2130708373]
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- You use the current_user function in the WHERE clause of an SQL Query.
- The query is on a view that has been defined with invoker's rights.
- Your locale is set to Japanese.
